PJD was conceived by two seasoned property recruitment specialists Ian Dobrin ( MD of Estate Agency Personnel Ltd and Overseas Property Jobs) and Sharon Mead-Blandford (MD of Estate Agency Staff Ltd) , who since 1993 both have recruited for over 2,500 UK and International property clients.
After extensive market research recently, with over SIXTY of the top property Employers in the UK and International market, on how they would ideally like to recruit the results were crystal clear and almost unanimous.
Over 75% said “They wanted to recruit DIRECTLY, were now geared up to do so and many said that they were even able to offer larger salaries if the savings on recruitment costs allowed.
Over the last two years we also spoke with literally hundreds of Job Seekers who expressed a desire to be in more control of their career aspirations and salary expectations.
It was a simple WIN, WIN situation. Employers wanted to regain control of their recruitment process and budgets and Job Seekers wanted the opportunity to make their own decisions on whom they would like to apply to and how.
With the emergence of hundred’s of “general job boards” over the last 10 years, it has become increasingly easier to advertise vacancies on the net, with most enquires agencies receive coming via this route in any case, and with most candidates using the net in the first instance, Ian and Sharon decided it was time to move with the times and PJD was conceived.
The major difference with general job boards and PJD is simply that general job boards tend to be high jacked by recruitment agencies, who pay monthly rates for a large number of postings, and it is almost impossible now for companies who wish to advertise directly to be found and in many cases they will be expected to pick up a large fee for a candidate who would wish to or could of found them DIRECTLY.
